Basic Information
The Southeastern Railway Museum is pleased to offer rental spaces for your special occasions. Celebrate your birthday party in one of our two authentic railcars, a Retired Clinchfield executive car #112 or a converted Southern Baggage car #4529, or outside in our rustic pavilion. Parties start times are 10:30 am, and 1:30 pm, additional times available with prior approval.

Hold you business meeting in either one of our railcars or our A/V theatre room equipped with an overhead projector.

The museum is also an up and coming site for weddings. Come celebrate that special event with us and say your "I do's" on the front of or in one of our train cars or engines. Hold your reception in our Exhibit hall or A/V theatre.

Outdoor space is a rustic pavilion, 12′ x16′, containing two picnic tables slightly larger than 3′ x 6′. Each picnic table has seating on all four sides. The pavilion will seat approximately 20 people comfortably.

Retired Clinchfield Railway executive car #112 with heat and air is also available. It will seat up to 40 people. (see pictures below).

Converted Southern baggage car #4529. Includes heat & air and will seat 40.

The museum′s inside theatre/conference room and the main exhibit hall are available for your group meeting or event.
Fees, time limits, prep, and cleanup time are set by arrangement when you make your reservation

Reservations and full payment must be made during regular museum hours. We prefer that you make these arrangements in person as this provides you a time to review our policies and to see what the facility looks like for planning purposes.

Reservations include use of the assigned space and the specified number of museum admission passes. Tickets for additional attendees may be purchased for $5 each. Large events (50+ attendees) are handled by special arrangement.

Please feel free to call and ask whether particular days/times are available, but please understand that times are ″held″ only when payment is received.

The pricing above does NOT include any refreshments (cake, ice cream, drinks) nor does it include any paper goods. The museum now offers catered parties if you're interested, please keep reading.

Catered Parties
Why deal with all the hassle of getting the decorations, cake, ice cream, drinks; let us do it for you.
The museum offers catered birthday parties. Choose from our basic "Happy Birthday Party" or a themed "Train Birthday Party".

Basic "Happy Birthday Party" includes: Cake and ice-cream (you choose flavor), drinks, decorations in the "Happy Birthday" design and paper goods, invitations, special happy birthday goodie bags, a train ride for all guests, and a host. Cost $300.00 plus $8.00 for each additional person over 20.

Themed "Train Birthday Party" includes: Cake and ice-cream (you choose flavor), drinks, decorations in the "Clickety Clack Train" design and paper goods, invitations, special train themed goodie bags, a train ride for all guests, and a host. Cost $350.00 plus $8.00 for each additional person over 20.

Additional Items available with either catered party option:

• Pizza - your choice of topping; 4 pizzas $30.00
• Crafts - for up to 15 kids; $25.00

Parking
All vehicles must park in the regular museum parking lot during regular museum operating hours. For larger events (100+ attendees), exceptions will be made for catering vehicles.
